Stewarts Sales & Service Ltd. was established in 1977 and is an importer and distributor of toys, gifts and stationery.
The company is innovatively managed and conservatively financed and is New Zealand's leading distributor in the educational toy and science and nature categories.
Over 1,000 different products are stocked in the new, purpose built, Christchurch warehouse and the company is the New Zealand distributor for the following international businesses:

The company has an award winning sales team that covers all of New Zealand on a regular 4 - 6 week cycle. The sales team are equipped with state of the art Pocket P.C.s, incorporating scanners, and all orders are relayed electronically to head office for fast, efficient processing. The company also exhibits with high profile booths at all the major New Zealand trade shows:

Customers include toy shops, department stores, chain stores, educational supply stores, direct marketing businesses, book and stationery shops, gift shops, nature shops and specialty shops at museums, zoos, aquariums etc.
The business is very customer orientated with a big emphasis on customer service. In fact, the company has won the industry award for best supplier in New Zealand toy and stationery category on several occasions. The company also has a non violent policy and has been presented with the Rainbow Ribbon Importers Award, by the international group Play for Life Inc.
Owners, John and Lesley Stewart have been with the company since its inception and have over 30 years experience in the toy industry. John is also on the board of directors of the New Zealand Gift Trade Association.
